- Metro North Railroad (two Blocks away): More than 175,000 Metro North commuters pass 125 th Street each day on their commute to and from Grand Central Terminal.
- Subway (one block away): More than 724,000 subway riders per day pass through 125 th Street on the way to or from Midtown and Lower Manhattan (in addition to the 14.8 MM riders who get on at 125th Street Station annually).
- Car: The Triborough Bridge is one block away. Uptown NY
Uptown NY is a contemplated 2 Million square foot, 4-block complex in East Harlem. Expected to break ground in 2006, this development will include approximately 700,000 SF of pedestrian-oriented retail space on three levels. The retail mix will include value, big box and small specialty retailers as well as restaurants and other service uses. Most tenants will have direct street access to their stores.There will be parking for approximately 700 cars below grade. There will also be 1,200 units of mixed-income housing above the retail base.
